Online Bullying and Cyber trolling is an common issue of now a days. However Twitter, Facebook and many other companies tries to detect abusive contents on their sites. But now yahoo also comes into the ring and develop a powerful abuse detection algorithm. The company used a combination of machine learning and crowdsourced suggestions to build the algorithm. This algorithm basically not looking for the abusive keywords. A more advanced approach to automated language understanding, using a way of representing the meaning of words as vectors with many dimensions. This approach, known as “word embedding,” allows semantics to be processed in a sophisticated way. Basically yahoo's new algorithm is based on Artificial Intelligence. For instance, even if a comment contains a string of words that have not been identified as abusive, the representations of that string in vector space may be enough to identify it as such. So far the yahoo has had pretty good success with their algorithm and has had a 90% accuracy rating.
