Basically twitter now allow their users to re-share their own posts on others timelines. But this retweet is available one time only for a single post,this is to save others timeline from clogging.
The update also make users to quote their tweet with another one. This means now users able to embed the tweet with another tweet rather than copying the link of older tweet in newer.
Last month twitter also increase its 140 character limit and also allow users to add @names in comments.
